About the Event

We are excited to announce the fantastic group of Women inspiring us in this month's Women in STEM Virtual Panel:

  • Andrea Lopez is a primary product manager at IXL Learning where she is responsible for the personalized learning components of the site: the IXL Real-Time Diagnostics and Recommendations.  She graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.  She is passionate about design, people, and ideas.
  • Cailin Helmick has a degree in mechanical engineering and works as an Applications Engineer for GoEngineer. She loves her job, which consists of teaching engineers how to use computer-aided design software like SOLIDWORKS. Outside of work, she loves mentoring robotics teams, 3D printing, and taking her dog Joules for long walks. Her proudest accomplishments include building a frisbee throwing robot, winning a LEGO building competition, and memorizing 100 digits of pi.
  • Pauline Tasci is a Process Development Engineer at Virgin Hyperloop.  She graduated in 2020 from California Polytechnic University, Pomona with a Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering.  She is passionate about engineering, innovation, and STEM education.  Pauline has created over 10 high performing robots to perform in competitive challenges, teaches K-12 students how to build competition level robots, and has participated in FIRST robotics for 10 years.
